Shaun the mighty warrior was troubled and went to seek out the wise monk Shem. Upon finding him near a tranquil river Shaun asked "Oh wise and nobel Shem, I am troubled by thoughts of the afterlife and all the things I have done. Good and evil... is there truly a heaven and a hell?"
Shem replied dismissively "YOU are a warrior for the king? Truly only a great fool would trust the kingdom to someone as foolish as you. I suppose you can take solace in knowing that there is at least one in the land even more foolish than you."
Shaun replied angrily "Why do you say this? How dare you call me a fool! How dare you insult the king! I am a great warrior. I have done you no wrong. Apologize or I shall slice off your head!"
Shem remaining silent.
Shaun growled impatiently and began to un-sheathe his sword. "Very well, I shall make you pay for your disrespect!"
Without moving, Shem said "...and thus do open the gates of hell."
Stunned, and realizing his foolishness, Shaun put his sword back into it's sheath.
Shem replied "...and thus do open the gates of heaven."
